Help Drive Change by Becoming a TownGreen Volunteer

volunteer opportunities

TownGreen’s volunteer opportunities unite community members, leaders, and policymakers to champion initiatives strengthening Cape Ann’s climate resilience.

Current Volunteer Opportunities

Emergency Preparedness

To prepare for the impacts of climate change, we need to know how to respond during an emergency, such as a hurricane, blizzard, extreme heat event, or woodland fire. TownGreen is planning volunteer opportunities in emergency preparedness and disaster resilience. Volunteers will have several choices to make, which will be determined through work with our partners, such as Cape Ann municipalities and the American Red Cross Northeast.

Business Sustainability and
Climate Resilience Committee

TownGreen, in partnership with the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, invites business owners and community leaders to join the Business Sustainability and Climate Resilience Committee. The Committee meets approximately every six weeks in person at the Chamber offices and on Zoom.  Current topics and discussions focus on developing a green business recognition program for Cape Ann businesses and hosting business climate roundtables and presentations.
